The change from summer to autumn is often stressful and seasonal colds are common. The days get shorter, we breathe cooler air, eat different food, wear more clothes, turn off the a/c, and turn on the heat and begin a new school cycle.
Deirdre returns to Blue Ridge to offer this seasonal sequence of balancing yoga poses to support the body, breathing techniques to calm the nervous system and a restorative meditation which is practiced lying down. Therapeutic oils, healing sounds, and reiki energy create a deeply relaxing atmosphere to shift gears and discover yoga’s hallmark – an easeful breath, a spacious body and a peaceful mind.
